Kenni Wright
Hi my name is Kennilyn A. Wright and I grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii. For nearly 30 years, I have lived in Grand Junction Colorado. I am happily married to my husband Scott Wright, who is the love of my life. He works for Spectrum Communications as a Manager of Construction. Our son Logan is our one and only sunshine of our life. He is currently living in Honolulu Hawaii working for Pacific Cargo Airlines and doing youth ministry. We all live for the Lord and attend Fellowship Church in Grand Junction, Colorado and serve in different capacities. I have four degrees; Certificate of Cosmetology/Hollywood Beauty College, Associates in Liberal Arts from Eastern Arizona, Bachelors in Counseling Psychology from Mesa State College (Colorado Mesa University), and Master in Arts in School Counseling from Adams State College (Adams State University). I have 26 years of experience in Education, leadership and advisement both at the university, community college, high and middle school and Christian Education.
Currently, I serve at BCS as the Educational Advancement Coordinator with our Administration Team serving faculty, staff, students and our community at heart. My other experiences include community partnership with Ariel Clinical Services in non-profit , hospitality, volleyball for college and as a coach at the high school for both volleyball and basketball , and serving church missions in Rustenburg, South Africa. I have many training experiences that I have done throughout my career in counseling, education, and safety and in the community. My passion lies in helping partner with our community to educate and support youth and adults with education and spiritual guidance. In my spare time, I love having coffee with my family and I enjoy volleyball, basketball, hiking, Christian music, decorating, event planning, cooking, reading, and traveling. I have been blessed to be mentored by some very talented people, and that is why I now mentor others to help them reach their God given goals. I love sunrises and sunsets! My Life scripture is found in Mark 12: 30-31, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
